ANNUAL MACA FAMILY FUN DAY 2018
MACA’s recent Family Fun Day and AGM was a big success. Thanks to all those who came to the program and made it into a big success. Everyone enjoyed the whole program.
MACA is fortunate to have so many talented singers in all age group.
The 7 singers who gave awesome performance:
Vaishali Sriprathap, a popular Toronto singer and TV anchor in a Tamil TV station.
Subha Krishnan, popular singer known as “Toronto Lathaji”.
Master Shyam Sridhar with her Sister Shreya Sridhar - Wonderful voice !
Venky aka Venkatesh, a popular singer from Kuwait
Rohan & Rachna – Sing like professional singer.
Varna, Harikesan and Srivtasan, Students from Madras Cultural Academy aka MACA School gave short speeches on
“Family Day” in English and Tamil.
BINGO: Latha Ramesh, Gita Sankaran and Suritha Hari conducted the game with an atmosphere of fun, laughter and cheers.
Five families (18 persons) who registered for the show did not show up nor informed us. Since the hall had limited capacity, we could not accommodate others who wanted to participate in this show. If they would have told us, we could have accommodated these interested members. We are mentioning this to avoid such situation in future.
MACA would like to thank all the volunteers who helped us! Special thanks to Suritha Hari for excellent hosting, Ramesh Raman for arranging the sound system, Gita Sankaran who took care of Light refreshment, Brinda Sridhar and Vasan for arranging the singers, and Pravin for capturing the happy moments.
