Dedicated Teachers at Madras Cultural Academy!

Maca is deeply indebted to our dedicated teachers without whom it will not be possible to run the school. They are professionals from different fields but what unites them is their commitment to passing on our language and heritage to the next generation.
 

East End:

Gita Sankaran
Gita Sankaran is the School Administrator for East End School. She has been offering her dedicated service from its inception. She has a great passion to teach and had been teaching Tamil language and Heritage.
Padmaja Bharath
Padmaja Barath is the current Director of the EastEnd School, has put her long teaching experience in Dubai and India to very good use in the Madras Cultural Academy She loves children, is passionate about teaching and works as an IT director in a private school.
Meenakshi Mohandoss
Meenakshi Mohandoss is from Tiruvarur in Tamil Nadu and has settled happily here with her family.
She loves kids ,enjoys Tamil and has found a great fit in teaching at the MACA school.
She also enjoys nature and the outdoors.
Dr. Sowmya Viswanathan
Dr Sowmya Viswanathan e is a scientist and a mother. She teaches at the MACA East End School and assists with the cultural programs and other school activities.
Vidya Shanker
Vidya Shanker brings in her professional skills as Secondary School Biology Teacher and her desire to help children learn to the MACA school .She also enjoys bharathanatyam, carnatic music and piano.

West End:

Jaya Balu
Jaya Balu is the School Administrator for West End School. She has been offering her dedicated service from its inception. She has a great passion to teach and had been teaching Tamil language and Heritage.
Vasunthara Srinivasan
Vasunthara Srinivasan is the current Director of the Westend School. She was a secondary school teacher for more than 7 years in Chennai did her M.Phil in Economics. She has a great passion in Tamil and loves to teach children. She has been teaching Tamil at Madras Cultural Academy for more than 5 years.
Vasumathi Srikanth
Vasumathi Srikanth is an accounts professional and passionate to teach Indian Culture and Heritage to young children. She has been teaching Indian Culture and Heritage at Madras Cultural Academy for more than 4 years.
